はじめに
2020年、新型コロナウイルスの流行により、世界中で多くの人が失業または減給など苦しい日々を過ごしています。そんな中、私はフィリピン・セブ島への転職移住を夢見て、勤めていた地方私立大学を退職&転職活動をして無事にセブ島にあるIT企業に内定をもらいました。
私の転職活動のプロセスを書いたのでフィリピンに転職しようとしている方は参考にしてみてください。

できます。私は一歩も自宅から出ることなくフルリモートでフィリピン企業の内定を頂けました。
１月からフィリピン企業で働くことになりましたが、新型コロナの状況が収まるまでは日本からのフルリモート勤務になりそうです。
転職活動開始から内定までの期間とプロセス
今回は私が受けたA社とB社の採用過程についてまとめました。

2020年9月13日 エージェントに登録
まず、Facebookでフィリピン専門の就職エージェントを見つけすぐに登録しました。私が登録したのはフィリピンで働きたい日本語話者用のエージェントです。
登録したらすぐに専任の担当者(フィリピン人)がついてくれて、その方まで履歴書等を送るように指示がありました。

2020年9月18日 エージェントに履歴書送付
担当者の指示通り以下の書類をWordで作成しメールで送付しました。
- 英文の履歴書
- 日本語の履歴書（写真付き）
- 日本語の職務経歴書
日本語の履歴書と職務経歴書は皆さんが日本で就職する際に使うものと同じです。英文履歴書は日本とは書き方が違うのでやや注意が必要です。
2020年9月22日 担当者とSkypeにて通話（30分程度）
履歴書を送付したら担当者の方とSkypeで通話しました。この通話は全て英語で行い、今思えばこれが後々企業と面接をする際の練習にもなっていました。
聞かれた内容
- 名前
- 住んでいる場所（日本かフィリピンかその他か）
- 履歴書に書いた経歴の確認
- 学歴・職歴
- 現在の仕事内容
- いつから働けるか
- 希望する給与、現在の給与
- 持っているスキル
ざっとこんな感じの内容を聞かれました。つたない英語で何とか乗り越えましたが、担当者曰く「この通話ができるくらいの英語力があれば十分」とのことでした。このインタビューを元に私ができそうな仕事をその担当者の方が見つけて紹介してくれます。
ちなみに私はTOEICや英検等の英語の資格は全く持っていませんが大丈夫でした。
2020年9月29日 A社 一次試験（英語面接）
エージェントがすぐに企業に連絡を取ってくれて面接日程が組まれました。私が最初に受けたこのA社はニューヨーク株式市場にも上場している米国企業です。
今回の就活は応募から内定まで日本、もっと言うと伊勢市から一歩も出ることなく全てリモートでの面接で内定までいきました。
一次面接は人事担当の方との面接で

- 今の仕事を辞める理由
- フィリピンのどこの支部で働けるか
- フルタイムで働けるか
- 希望する職種についての知識(未経験可)
- A社の産業についての知識
以上のようなことを聞かれました。
翌週には一次合格の連絡とともに日本語テストの日程が送られてきました。
2020年10月12,13日 A社 二次試験（日本語テスト）
A社はフィリピンにある米国企業で英語の一次面接で日本語話者の職種を採用していたため、本当に日本語ができるのか、試験がありました。日本人にはかなり簡単な内容の試験でした。
2020年10月19日 B社の紹介・応募
A社の二次試験の結果を待つ間にエージェントの担当者からIT企業のB社を紹介されB社も応募することにしました。B社はリモートワークやフレックスタイム制も取り入れている企業で非常に魅力的でした。
2020年10月20日 B社 一次試験（翻訳テスト）
B社ではIT技術翻訳者の職種に応募していたので翻訳のテストがありました。IT用語が多くてかなり難しいテストで、テストが終わったときには「絶対落ちたな」と確信しながら終えました。
しかし、結果は合格で二次試験の面接日程のメールが届きました。
2020年10月22日 B社 二次試験（英語面接）
なぜか受かったB社の面接でも、大体30分程度のテレビ通話でA社と同じようなことを聞かれました。
2020年10月27日 A社 三次試験（英語面接）
この面接でも一次とほぼ同じような内容を聞かれましたが、面接相手はマネージャーでした。日本で言うと部長のようなポジションです。
2020年11月4日 B社 三次試験（日本語面接）
日本支社にいる日本人の面接官との面接でした。リモートでかつ私服の面接官でかなりフランクな雰囲気だったのでやりやすい面接となりました。
この面接では「フィリピンで生活していく自信があるか」「何年くらいフィリピンにいたいか」というような、就職後の生活に関する内容でした。
2020年11月10日午前 A社 四次試験（日本語面接）
この面接がA社の最終面接でした。日本語での面接でやはり聞かれた内容は一次の時のような内容です。
ただ、面接の最後には「画面共有をしてワードを開いてください」と言われ、お題が出されて「日本企業の取引先へ送るメール文章を作成してください」という質問がありました。
2020年11月10日午後 B社 四次試験（英語面接）
リモートの良いところは一日にいくらでも面接が可能なところです。この日はA社、B社と面接をしました。
PC一台あれば自室から一歩も出ることなくマニラとセブにある企業２社と面接できます。
2020年11月23日 B社 内定通知
ついに内定が出ました。B社の内定は3日以内に返事をしなければいけませんでしたが、A社の結果を待ちたかったためエージェントの方からB社へ連絡してもらい、B社に少し承諾までの期間を延長してもらいA社の結果を待ちました。
しかし、延長してもらった期限になってもA社からの回答は「結果はもう少し待ってほしい」とのことだったのでB社の内定を承諾しました。
フィリピン就職に必要な英語力
日常会話ができればOK
フィリピンの就職にはアメリカやイギリスで求められるようなビジネス英語はそれほど必要ありません。もちろんあるに越したことはありませんが、日常会話がある程度できれば大丈夫です。
私の知り合いではフィリピンで英語での実務経験を積んでオーストラリアやカナダに転職するという方も何人か見てきました。
